za toranaga66 : This is part of the problem, immigrants to the UK are not encouraged to integrate. In fact they are taught that multiculturalism is superior to a mono British culture. We are now are deeply fractured society led by politicians who are too frightened to tell the truth. If I was younger I would try and emigrate to somewhere in Eastern Europe where they value their own culture and heritage :)

I have great friends west and east, but I can't and I don't want to respect someone who comes to my house and wants to change my world and my house and my mind. I will never respect someone who doesn't respect me.

Imagine a neighbor coming to your house to visit and tell you that you can't eat pork anymore because he doesn't eat it either and even though he's visiting you you have to respect his and your habits and priorities will be disregarded.. You'd kick a neighbor like that in the ass, wouldn't you? And these "neighbors" from all over the world are now to be welcomed and glad that they want to take what little we have?

za matador60 : Twenty years ago, I went to Britain as a truck driver. It's a beautiful country. I used to be in Birmingham and Manchester a lot. Back to the Czech Republic we brought some steel ingredients from Newmilns (just outside of Glasgow). There were already big problems with immigrants. I can't imagine what they've done to a wonderful country like England in 20 years... it's sad..
