    Although I liked the 75 movie. I also agree that a better version should be made. Maybe one where the whipping, sex, and branding is real.

    This lame version was made in Brazil, 1994, by the same producer of the already lame French version of 1975 from which the only good thing was Corinne Cléry herself. The original and eternal problem with Story of O is that the book is pornographic and PROUD TO BE porn, but movie versions are plagued with the fancy and pretentious arrogance of directors and producers to make elegant movies. Therefore, there never were decent adaptations of the book for either cinema or video. Sure the sweet and pretty Claudia Cepeda is no Corinne Cléry, but instead, Brazilian version had the delicious Paula Burlamaqui as Jeanne. A shame another oportunity was lost to make a true porn version of the movie. I guess this would be a task for some American producer...
